When you choose Comfort Road to help your pet transition, a team consisting of a Certified Vet Tech and a Mass Licensed Veterinarian will arrive at your home. They’re happy to work wherever you and your pet will be most comfortable, so please choose a location that feels best for you both, whether that’s a bedroom, livingroom, etc. 

The team will start your pet with a sedation injection. Every animal is different - some are completely asleep after that first injection, and for others it provides relaxation. Once the sedation has taken full effect - and when you are ready - the doctor will inject a euthanasia solution intravenously.  Your pet will pass quietly and peacefully within a minute or two.  

If you've chosen to cremate with us, the team will then transport your pet to our cremation facility.

The total time for an appointment varies, but the average is about 30-45 minutes. 

PRICE: $300 + Travel fee*

Price includes sedation, when needed. *Travel fee ranges from $40-100, depending on distance. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue.
