Erin Lovett & Ed Ruck
OWNERS
Erin Lovett, a Certified Vet Technician, has been in the veterinary field for over 10 years, and discovered her true calling is end of life care. She grew up in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and graduated from Massachusetts College of Art (2005), which is also where she met her husband, Eddie Ruck! They were married in 2011, and have one daughter, together named Lucy.
In 2012 Erin and Eddie opened Greener Pastures Pet Cremation.
When Erin isn’t working, her hobbies include going to flea markets, running, going to the gym and spending time with her family. She is so proud to have a team of doctors that have the passion for home care as she does.
We will care for your pets with the respect and love they deserve. You're not just a client, you are a friend.

Caralee Manley, DVM
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Manley’s love of animals began while she was growing up in a small town in Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Prince Edward Island, where she also met her husband (a native of PEI). She graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine (2007), and has practiced small animal medicine since that time. While she works in clinical practice throughout the week, she has also chosen to use her abilities to provide a peaceful transition to those families wishing to say goodbye to their pets at home.
When she’s not caring for pets, Dr. Manley enjoys hiking, hockey, reading, and spending time with her husband, Matt, their two children, and the family’s three dogs, two, cats and a tortoise.

Cynthia Cohen, DVM
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Cohen was born and raised in CT. She did her undergraduate work at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and relocated to Massachusetts to attend Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine, from which she graduated in 2002. She's worked at several private practices and one emergency facility since graduation, and prefers general practice where she can be involved with the family-patient-doctor relationship from puppy/kittenhood all the way up through the difficult end-of-life discussions and decisions.
She lives in Sterling with her husband, and their 8-year-old yellow Lab, and two Ragdoll cats - and will soon be an empty nester as her children finish high school and head to college. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling to Europe, being with her family, and continuing her practice as a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter. She feels privileged to be a part of Comfort Road/Greener Pastures, and to be able to euthanize terminal or very sick animals in the privacy of their own home where they are at ease and with their families.
